Haim, I recommend upgrading from Nait 3 to 92/90. It’s finally time to make the move.
Thanks @Dan_M . Yes, a 250DR is probably the next upgrade. I’m selling my CDX first (hence the empty top shelf in my Fraim).
I’ve invested quite a lot in my system over the last few months. All boxes serviced, Hi-Cap DR upgrade, Power-lines, NACA5, a ND5XS2 and now the NDX2. Also got the streamer feed sorted with a switch + LPSU and proper cables & connectors.
My audio piggy bank needs a little recovery time now…
Some of the ones we get would not take lightly to being squished into a glass, a punch bowl maybe… factor in the fact some jump, oftentimes it would appear as if purposefully aiming for ones face… broken punch bowl and resultant soiled shorts - no thanks, I’m not that attached to my possessions, rather just move house.
Cape Town is probably a tougher place than anywhere in the UK
Atom Chrome Bumper system
Playing to the sounds of Floating Points Pharoah Sanders & The London Symphony Orchestra
Reminds me of Philip K D!ck’s comment from when he used to work in a hi fi shop, about large “speakers that, if you didn’t go to the store to see them, they’d pay a visit to your house to see you…”
Looking awesome Linton
I guess it’s all relative… it is beautiful though
I’m quite sure that regarding spiders the UK can’t compete
We have Radio Paradise on Spotify on my partner’s iPad, then to a Bluetooth speaker in the corner of her kitchen. Sounds good.
You won’t go wrong with a Sodastream user and Waitrose shopper.
I see you don’t mess around putting milk on your breakfast cereal when there are more interesting alternatives to hand.
The Oatly is in the fridge.
Hi Linton, how is the Atom integrated into your system?
Hi Jono-13
Atom is connected to the
TV
Streaming
Radio
Vinyl
Blu ray
All connected to the pre amp via pre out on Atom
Works for me my not be very audiophile but who cares give me hours of enjoyment
The volume on the Atom is set at 75 so I use the volume control on the pre amp. If I’m feeling lazy I control volume with the remote on the Atom
Excellent taste in stands, Matthew - I’ve owned Hutter racks just like that (in maple, too) for the past fourteen years.
As of next week though, that’s all about to change…
Cheers
At one point they were the rack to have before Fraim took over.
I assume they are no longer available. I have some spare shelves but I was idly thinking about how many I’d need if I went active
What are you getting?
