It’s actually a standard Turntable isolation platform.
Good to see another P6.
Needs a yellow mat though, to match the Exact.
A lovely example of simplicity and quality. I suspect that brings much listening happiness. Nice!
It really does the whole less is more thing very well.
Having these on the end of the Atom helps of course…
Thats a nice setup also that’s how speakers should be positioned up against the wall.
I do love that room and your system Jono
Christmas decorations going up, which means the old Rega CD player comes out of storage especially for the christmas CDs!
Optical out to use the DAC in the Naim of course, can’t leave that out!
New room is finally all set. Painted the wall black for better effect, the Focals just blend into the background
Nice setup! What’s the make of the flatscreen? Looks like it has great contrast and resolution.
Thanks for the kind words. The Flat screen is a Samsung QN75 Q90T series 2020 model purchased six months ago on sale. It is connected to a Denon avrX4700 receiver. It’s great for movies and just okay for 2 channel. I have been an lover of audio for 40+ years but only recently upgrade two older systems to a NAIM system in 2019 so I guess I’m still a newbie.
What are the on-wall speakers you are using?
I have a similar Denon AVR-X4000 from a previous system and and now trying to choose a reasonably priced on/in-wall 7.2 speaker package. Keep bumping up against the twin barriers of crazy money or not suitable for a large room.
Looks nice, but I still think Fraim looks better (in the context of your room env and your HIFI system).
Wow! A little system for you and it would be the end game for many of us !!!
Are you are folk singer by any chance?
That explains it then.
From that angle the P10 looks like it’s ready to go onto battle against that borg cube we saw earlier in the thread (or was it another one).
Looks great and nice to see you’ve entered the festive spirit
