Now with NBLs in their rightful place with new tweeters.
Between an email from Salisbury to say they had no tweeters left and one from my local dealer to say that Naim had quoted him €750 for a pair I’d ordered a pair from Scanspeak. I was torn between just fitting them and trying to convince an insurance company that they should pay for the Naim ones, in the end I couldn’t face that battle. I found that my one previous owner, bought from the dealer who had originally supplied them NBLs had already had one replacement tweeter as attested by the lack of a match letter, the badly dressed wires and strings of hot melt glue trailing away from what should have been a nice neat puddle, It wasn’t even the one that failed but I’ve replaced both anyway. Sorry no photos of the new tweeters, I was too eager to get the job over with but here’s one of the failed one.
Oh yes. Already on that slope. Olive HiCap already on the watch list. Plenty of CBs about, less Olive.
I do like your coffee table it’s a good old chunk off timber that
Lovely set up Stuart - like the oak (?) LP12 plinth. And nice to see another Sound Factory Tripod in use too
Yes, Linn oak Yeti. Thank you!
Thanks James.
Thanks Peter.
I see Charlie gave you the idea . Glass of champagne on the S1.
Could you please described components of your system, if I may?
Thank you in advance,
David
The red wine may be French
Doesn’t matter if there’s nothing new @stuart.ashen, it’s always a pleasure to see your lovely system and those beautiful SBL’s.

What is the Moon for?
Is this a network streaming transport? Does in access web streaming and a network server like the other Aurelic products? I heard the Vega G2 a few weeks ago and was very impressed with it.
I heard a Mind 2 with a Chord TT2 on a full 500 system and it was so good I’m borrowing it with my Qutest. It’s a digital transport that requires a DAC. I have to say (and am sorry to say!), so far, I prefer it to my NDX2. The clarity and separation is superb.
*and the App is better
It does @Mike_S! But unfortunately they discontinued it. Seems it was a bit of a loss leader for Auralic and may have been poaching sales from further up the range as it was so effective at doing its job.
