System Pics 2022

I got there nice and early and got a spot in their customer parking round the back. I shudder to think what it’s like at busier times.

Always nice to talk to people that know how to combine Naim with B&W - something that can be divisive, even on forums as civilised as this.

Thinking a proper equipment rack should be first on the list…

Wow, that’s a serious step forward!

Those 808s look right at home there. Is the rest of your system still as per your profile ?

Perlisten R7T speakers? They look very nice. Curious how you rate them in terms of strengths and (maybe) weaknesses?

They’re the S7 towers. They’re excellent. Only been running around a week but I’m really liking them.
I got them as part of a full surround setup so I have the small S centre and R model surrounds.
I had Monitor Audio GX300’s before and these are in a different league completely.
I think they’re a really special speaker. Not that I compared many but huge improvement for me in 2 channel and surround sound.
Just wondering what the 300dr will bring now!

Sounds great from what you share. They are quite pricey over here in The Netherlands.

I got a good deal from my dealer so didn’t pay retail. Yes they are pricey but I believe a lot of quality has gone into them with the crossovers

Is this a new addition?

Hi Ian, No. I’ve just looked back at my receipts and I bought it used in April 2018. It replaced my NAT 03 which didn’t match the rest of my stuff. Sounds like new though because it was serviced by Naim for a flat fee, last summer.

I have Olive, Classic and Uniti in my rack.

Great fun , though the NAT 03 is there as a back up - owing to unreliable broad band

But the 03 is better than back up! Though perhaps you want to listen to a wider range of stations than I do. (My basic view is that more choice is not necessarily better but I know it’s old fashioned and an affront to marketeers. )

First post - go easy on me! My system as of today (I took delivery of the Nova today). Upgraded from an Atom, which I originally paired with an old pair b&w 685s (that I had used with a Rotel amp, ages ago). Upgraded the 685s last year to the 705s2s. The atom was amazing, but right out of the box the Nova is a considerable step up. And it’s going to get better as it settles in!?!? Amazing. Enjoying the journey.

Welcome! I like that piece of furniture.

Now get over to our “Show Us Your Guitars” thread and fill us in!

Welcome, Bobby. I like the attention to detail where even the door stopper - mind those B&Ws - matches the decor. :sunglasses:

Very nice colorful photo of your system and guitars. Welcome to the forum and enjoy the music
