System Pics 2022

Yep he’s already filled me in on that, 250 then XPS then sc then NDX2 and finally the pre amp on top. I’ve only broken down my Fraim by 3 shelves and 2, rapped them tightly in bubble wrap and tape. Hopefully it’ll go back together ok.

Oh didn’t realise that

252 on top shelf

Is that to keep it as far away as possible from PS’s ?

Don’t need to worry about NDX2 being close to PS’s?

Yes, on top of your LP12.

Buggered if I know, I just do what I’m told.

HH will be along shortly telling us to post a picture.

Your wife said that also

Yes, the 252 seems more sensitive than the NDX2, so sits above it. I tried both options and prefer the 252 on top, with my Rega Planar 3 to the side.

My turntable will also be on a separate temporary table.

I consider it another benefit of listening to vinyl… it insures that I move more, get up and down at least every so often while listening to music, vs. the “couch-lock” that can set in during a lengthy session of streaming and running the show off an iPad. I like to look for benefits, no matter how small, wherever I can find them. Lol…

Remember to switch off the internal amplifier in the SuperUniti, the system improves.

Thanks Tony. Hope all is well with you. Some interesting suggestions from you over on our favourite thread . Queued up nicely.

Lawks! How do I do that? I thought it would sort everything automatically when I plugged in the nap200

Should we rename this the ‘Not system pics’ thread.

New turntable shelf turned up today, to match the one I bought 10 years ago and still had in the loft. Frees up the top shelf too

Send a picture of your system and I will tell you.

Me too @Naimgary completely agree.

I am far more intentional about listening to music when playing vinyl and am more mindful as a result. I am struck by the contrast in my behaviour depending on which format I listen to. I am often flitting between songs and artists when listening to streamed music - preoccupied with choosing the next track instead of just listening to one complete side of an album. I am blessed to have two great sources to choose from but since getting the LP12 my listening is 90% vinyl 10% streaming. I have migrated from 100% listening to cds (CDX2 now boxed up in the loft) to having two format choices. I guess you could say I have made 1GiantLeap - which I genuinely never saw coming.

I really like the racks, may I enquire the source.

Thanks
