Sorry…i had mistake it`s the same mine block
Help Mark , you kept the Nait ?
Ken Rockwell is much better known for his camera reviews than his hifi reviews , a polarising figure .
Have to ask , what are the speakers ? They don’t look as if they were fabricated at home ?
best wishes
Yeah I kept the Nait. I actually think it’s a really nice little amp. If you don’t expect too much from it. Great for a second system. I assure you the speakers were DIY. But I’m flattered, thanks.
Here’s proof.
Hi Mark, is that the rebuild? IIRC you recabbed one of your previous TG builds?
They do look good
Yeah exactly right. Had the parts sat there a while. Just got round to finishing it. It’s quite an old design.
Hi Mark, is that a DIY sealed box speaker? If so, a Troels design?
That is exceptional quality. I wish I had the skill, but more importantly the patience, I just rush things all the time.
Well me too. That’s why I had to rebuild. The last versions were not so good. Mind you, they were done 10 years ago. The trick is to get quick and neat.
Bass reflex design. Yes Troels design. It’s the Ellam XT.
Very nice router work!
Listening to: Stereolab - Refried Ectoplasm (vinyl recording DSD files)
Setup a supplimentary system in my office for testing purposes but figured I’d setup my Chord Mojo/Poly as a simple DAC/Transport.
Put together from various “spares”, think i’ll add my cassette deck in here for extra fun.
Pretty nice supplemental system!
The main benefit is it’s seperate from the house in the garden and I can lock the door!
Good for those late night noisemaking sessions if nothing else
Also means the Linn/PMC system on my desk has a friend for company when I’m not around.
Looks perfect and bet it plays perfect too. I really like the more discreet systems that a lot of people are turning to, much more pleasant on the eye rather than shelves upon shelves. Everyone to their own though.
Certainly where I’ve found myself of late and listening more as a result.
Love the rack!
