Very nice, curious if you can now crank up “Kashmir”,and be happy with the sound.
Great room.
I’m actually waiting on the k10’s to be good and run in before trying that one!
Most drivers use a hex or torx bolt, so a multi-head hex key tool should get the job done. I torque my ATC drivers every year or so. Temperature and humidity changes, not to mention vibrations from the units themselves, are key reasons why they loosen over time.
That’s a really beautiful veneer on the K-10s.
Great room and setup @Zackwater !
May I ask the dimensions of your room and the positioning of your speakers?
Enjoy,
Thanks,
Jodl
Hoping for a speedy recovery .
Ian
Hi Ian, fully recovered now thanks, massive improvement after years of problems but all good and back into vinyl as well which has turned out to be a huge bonus.
I must confess my physical limitations such as cataracts , dodgy knees and other things played a part in my system downsizing to something lighter, with fewer connections.
I also compensated by better quality inter-connects, and power cables .
Best wishes
The room is about 20’ wide by 40’ long. It has some other features like a hallway entrance to the room and another hallway exit on the other end. There is a nook that the Naim electronics are placed, it’s not a perfectly rectangular room but close. The speakers are 12’ apart at their closest point to each other, not the center of the speaker. The speakers are about 10” from the wall and are slightly toed in.
Wow, so these speakers should work fine in this setting!
Would really like to hear the ProAc speakers in my system/room.
Measuring aprox 5x9 meters (but open on 2 sides ) the K10 would probably overload the room? Also they would be only 2 meters apart…So K6 maybee…but then the Titans 808 are such a great match in my room/system. So I suspect they will stay with me for some time .
Please let us know, how you get on with your new speakers as they will run in further.
Regards,
Jodl
Wow! Superb room, taken through binoculars to make it look that big?
Sounds like if they put us both together they might just about make one good one.
As my father always like to remind me " its no fun getting old son!" he obvoiusly never met Jack Daniels, cheers Ian.
I always say getting old is better than the alternative…
