Core incoming but they told me to Ethernet it. Dreading its arrival tbh
I normally have mine wired just can’t at the moment. You’ll be fine they’re pretty simple to use, look forward to photos. Good luck.
You will love it! I was also reluctant to stream but after taking the plunge am a total convert. Lost about 1000 cds from my lounge and can access just about anything I want from Qobuz.
Does it work outside Mike?
What kind of gas does it use?
Looking for something small and discreet like that for my cabin and would think it could double for the seating area just outside the cabin on those cooler evenings…
Potential fire hazard for a cabin . I have a Chiminea outside mine but never light it. It’s just for looks.
Nah… it’ll be fine
We have been looking at Fire Pits for 2 years now and still can’t agree…
Rainmakers are really nice!
I’ve got your name Stuart just in case
Works outside. Bio-ethanol. This one custom-built with fuel pod available on Amazon. The bigger the device, the higher the fuel capacity, the longer the burn.
Going a bit off piste here, so…
Without the slippers.
Thank you, ill take a look
Hope you’ve got a CO monitor.
That’s really interesting, I’m now intrigued to try that myself. I have my spiked stands on spike cups and was thinking of getting slate bases.
I know each of our systems are different and mine can sound a tad bright/sharp in the mid to high range so if coupling smooths that out a bit could be a good thing, especially if I gain more PRaT!
Thanks for the idea.
I have been experimenting the other way, adding isolation using closed cell foams (after reading about Townshend systems, which I can’t afford). The difference for me has not been dramatic, but it did reduce the base boom issues that I had (to be fair this was assisted by incrementally moving the speakers out when my other half wasn’t looking). I do have a resilient floor, so isolation will also have reduced vibration in the racks … and made it quieter downstairs.
That’ll do!
Nice, Dynaudio Sapphire’s are kind of a rare speaker. I have owned several Dyn’s over the years, love the brand.
Just set a second system for music and tv using Uniti HE and Lumina I. The monstrous Perreaux amp was just to get it up and going…to be replaced shortly by something to fit in the cabinet.
Yes, thanks, The Dyn Sapphires (2009’s) are a recent huge upgrade on my previous Royd Doublets (as they should be, despite my fondness of Royds). Probably the only ones in NZ too, but there should be another 999 out their somewhere if they have been looked after.
Love that set up
