Looks great. It’s always nice to have a renovation finished to enjoy.
Cheers Mike. It was like a Monty Python sketch trying to explain the cable routing to the trademen fitting that unit. They got it in the end.
Looks very comfortable and well thought out. Many hours of musical bliss ahead. Well done.
Very nice. Well done!
The WAF is about a zillion times higher than my system too.
Forget the system!
I’m just extremely envious of that log burner! The room looks wonderfully warm!
Love this. Old and new in harmony
Quad 33, Parallel lines! I once had the Quad 33 & 303 then 405 combinations and a pair of Gale 401s. Being a bit unadventurous, my Gales were the wood-finished version, but they still sounded great. I believe that Elton John used the chrome Gales as his on-stage monitors at some point in his career. By the way, such a kind Dad! Brian D.
I was thinking of doing exactly the same on my Altair G1, do you just give the knob a pull to pop it off? `
that was quite a sentence to type.
Lol.
Pull it off, clean it with white spirit or similar. Rattle can to colour of choice.
Excellent, thank you. The bright silver stands out like a sore thumb right now!
I did think I’d get away with the satin black that I happened to have laying about. Now it’s on I can see I need to get a can of matt black as it still stands out a little too much.
I think someone mentioned that we should get out more.
Love those DBLs…i wish i could find

Beautiful system. Can i ask what rack are you using for the equipment?
Thanks, Jas.

Wish I could ‘like’ this ten times.
