The knee!
Somebody has chopped your leg off
You’ve turned the volume down.
Nice budgies
Hu??
You have to be familiar with the British “Carry On” series of movies from the late '50s (?) to the early '70’s, full of double entendres and poking fun at British stereotypes (as opposed to Stereo Types!)
Lovely system, especially loving the Keilidh’s
Artemide Tizio with floor support. Nice :–)
Nice collection of books - I have an obsession with this topic. The White Spider is a great read.
Google - rack, slang
A nice pair of Piegas - look good in black.
I thought that too - slightly larger dust caps, but then it could be a trick of the light.
There is a certain DIY look to the speaker system but I’m sure that it supports the idea that there is no replacement for displacement.
Thank you. They’re easy to live with sonically & aesthetically. Basically just plug & play. I think distribution issues in the U.K. prevent them being more popular. Unlike yours ours don’t have a ribbon tweeter.
Went from Dynaudio passives (powered by 600W mono blocks hidden behind the TV) to Focal actives for my second system in the living room.
interesting, how do they sound?
As a brand they appear too far off the radar for most buyers in the UK, which is a shame. I have TS3s in the bedroom (stand mount version of yours) and T-60 Micro AMTs in the AV system which use an AMT rather than a ribbon. I would love to try one of the ribbon versions one day.
Spot on.
