Thanks Blackstar, I see where you got your name! Itās Davidās Birthday today as wellā¦
Hi Rob, I like the subtle placement of the s1. It likes being away from the 500 head, as we now know. All looks good Best Peter
Looking as good as always Mark.
No, they are fake Mark, if you hadnāt noticed
Cheers Peter. Yes the compound effect of keeping the S1ās P/S away from the ābrainā components and also eliminating the bend on cables S1 end
@Cohen1263
I am curious, Did you find a difference depending on the position of your S1 wether itās within the line of the fraims or as on the picture stacked all the way back and turned 90 deg. ?
Enjoy
Yes poor phrasing on my part, it is of course the 500 head, which doesnāt favour from having a 2.5 KW transformer sat on its shoulder. I found a foot of distance to be better and it obviously also favours ease of connectivity ATB Peter
Living room system all in place now, Roksan Attessa Streaming Amp, ATC SCM7S and B&O TX2 turntable.
It sounds wonderful and met my expectations when changing from an aging Unitilite/Linn 109.
My trusty Mu-so 1st Gen, purchased when they first came out, continues its excellent service in the kitchen/dining/sitting room.
Fabulous
Hi Charlie. Keeping the huge S1 P/S away from the 500 and 555 head units and the relaxing of cables both added a small but worthy improvement. I just donāt have the space to do it any other way.
@Cohen1263
Thank you, thatās what I thought, I was just wondering if you found a noticeable difference. Similarly I moved my stack with the 500 amps a tier up to be sure itās out of the immediate influence zone of the s1 basement. But I would not swear I noticed a big difference, so maybe more a matter of self deception or OCD. But itās always good to be considerate about those issues. The sum of just minute improvements in the end make of brake the magic.
