Ho Ho Ho!
Yes the distances between some towns is larger than one might imagine, even in the summer. I was there for a family event but it was Feb timeframe so driving was a little bit slower. The snow/landscape was amazing.
Maybe time to get back on track and let someone post a few piccies of their systems. Mine is still the same (there is a picture above somewhere) as earlier this year when I went down the NC route.
What, it’s barely Fall… oh, that’s right, you guys walk around on your heads all day long!!!
Nice but can barely see your system!
Is it system pics or are you just making us all jealous on the view out from your patio doors. Maybe new topic. View outside my window with 5% of my system showing
Sounds like a good thread
I did start the thread, but we can have a room with a view thread?
Yes with 5% system showing. Start it up Mike. My room has no view so do it!
Call it room with a view with 5% system showing!
Quite obviously not my system, but I got to hear the Statement (and Solstice) last week in person, and it was stunning, as one might expect…
I would like to have heard some other speakers on the system.
AF Merate, what a place!
Max, I agree that it’s time to retire the “spaghetti western” phrase and I will do so.
(I mean the above sincerely. Less seriously, next time I hope you will stash a Supernait 1 and some N-Sats in a closet instead of selling them only to buy them again.)

It’s a standard Linn walnut plinth. Arm is an Ittok and the cartridge is AT33EV MC.
I am not bothered by it, I find it trivial… There are so many shades in a country’s culture. Even in our little booth-shaped one… Let’s find a new name for Sergio Leone’s films!
It never even crossed my mind that Spahgetti Western was anything more than a loose description of for me a style of Western. I never thought about it anymore than that tbh
Nice flare.
Nice rug on it.
