Fabulous country. Fabulous wine and fabulous food are just two things to love about it.

Its, not just for show. I do play a bit and so does 16 year old lad, There are a few guitars dotted around the house. You can never have too many guitars…

Gosh, are those LS5/8s? I remember reading an amusing review years ago, which said that the bass output from those units could affect the milk yield of cattle in an adjoining county!

Missed this setup. Time to relax on the weekend.

Not Naim but sounds pretty good although software not as good as Naim’s….
I suspect you either love it or hate it aesthetically!

I would just prefer the muso wood edition, but I admit that’s a nice design too! Even more, great clock. It reminds me of my grandparents who had a similar one.

Oh and I like the ‘round’ theme. Many round curves which looks very nice and original.

The clock reminds me of my old Ford Capri!

A round room is tricky sound wise but nice for aesthetics.

The muso is better built and has better software but sound is comparable though a different presentation.

I would never have paid the RRP for the Ifi but at half price via dealer I couldn’t refuse.

Thanks

Which boxes are you running in that picture?

They are nac72/nap140 and NDX2/XPSDR. There is no shelf for a hicap which is fine for this small room.

If I’m not screwing into solid wood, I don’t really trust the cheesy plastic drywall anchors that are supplied with most hangers. I replace them with a toggle bolt. If you’re really worried, secure a bigger wooden mounting plate first, then attach the hanger to that.

A couple of changes today.
Tony from Basically sound didn’t just bring the Lingo IV upgraded LP12 back, he also brought the new NDX2.

You’ll also notice that the Dynaudio Evoke 50’s are missing and the Linn Keilidh’s are back on duty, ably supported by a REL T/5 Sub. It is on loan for 2 weeks to see if it can deliver the extra dimension to the Keilidh’s sound.
First impressions are very promising.
Thank you Tony & Graham @ Basically Sound, Norfolk for all the hard work

Where is the Lingo 4 in that shot?

I put a picture of the Lingo IV on the “Show us your Sondek” thread @bhoyo, but here it is again…
