Hi I’m not to sure. I will find out the next time I go round for a listen.
Great to see another naim based AV set up, I’m running a 7.5.0 naim based AV set up
Ive run out of sockets now on this wall, I have another wall thats full as well although only 8 sockets there. I only have one source a 4K player, and three lines are direct from the CU. I dont think it’s possible to dress my cables to be honest
Hi GeoffC, not sure if you was looking at changing the SN2 for a pre but I recently swapped a hicap dr for a supercap dr on a SN3 and I love what it does.
Is the intention that at some point a NAC 252 goes in?
Curious as it was something I pondered doing at one time and never quite got round to doing, also on a Supernait.
I know it’s not ideal but was worth it. Gets you one step closer to the 252. It’s the way I’m looking to go.
Makes sense if that’s the case, bit of an indulgence otherwise!
Hi @Puddlesplasher it is my intention to change the SN2 for a new preamplifier next, and the power supply it requires will dictate my options.
Super photo
Bit of a mood pic, apropos of not very much really.
Mainly to show off my new slimline edition of the Densen 2023 amp mounted below the Radikal.
Room still looking lovely
Yet again proof (in my eyes) that FraimLite looks so much better than Fraim. Nothing wrong with Faim, but the Lite is so uncluttered with fewer horizontal lines. Definitely on the todo list for this year.
Am I missing something ? Your system is in the dining room?
One system is, yes. It is where we spend a lot of time. It is open plan, so music can be heard beyond the dining area
Crikey. This was taken two years ago. My first ever turntable, my second CD player (Marantz 6000 OSE preceded the CD5) and second amplifier (a Technics SU-V470 preceded the NAIT3).
This is how it looks today (and I can’t seem to get a nice shot of it all on my phone, meh)
My second TT! Still my second CD player. Third amplifier. Plus a few other bits and bobs
I’m not sure if I can now expect the rate of change to increase, in light of the recent threads on CD and amp history, or not. I hope not, this all now sounds utterly amazing, and a massive step on from my vinyl front end of 2 years ago.
I think some people take it a little too far, maybe?
