That thought is indeed worthy of a
Or even one of these
I remember a hifi dealer advising me that a shoebox size 62/90 pre/power wasn’t good enough to drive my new SBLs, about thirty years ago. I didn’t replace either amps or SBLs for the best part of those thirty years!
Or perhaps ……the list is endless
I get on fine with them as I have loads of soft furniture in the room and a blanket screen on the wall behind sofa. Its a bit basic but makes a real difference. titan 808 arrive next week for the Sopra 2’s as another upgrade …oh dear
Must be more than that
That looks a very comfy place to spend some quality time with that new Statement pre
yeh your right, sorry 7ft i Reckon
so about 2 m
The blanket on the wall is the cheapest sound upgrade I have done ! Its a man cave and you don’t see it as its behind you
I was thinking the same🤔
Got to be 2 meters, unless of course you’re a hobbit…
Congratulation on your decision to replace the Sopra 2 with the Titan 808. I‘m sure you want regret that
I recommend after running in period of your 808 to give them a try to demonstrate their SQ when driven active.
I liked my Sopra 2 but got a great deal on the 808 to complete the S1 setup now. Thats me done now. I am very fortunate to be in this position and to have a great dealer nearby…naughty Pete and Ross of Acoustica. Whatever Naim system we have, we all get immense enjoyment from it and puts a smile on our face. We are too long dead
Please don’t …
Apparently the speaker cables are home made.
Finally got around to restoring my Nait 2. The Olives get a well deserved rest for a bit while I see what the little Nait can do in my system. Driving ATCs, I’m pretty gobsmacked at how well it acquits itself.
CDX2.2/XPS-DR/Lavender/Nait 2/ NAC A5/ATC 19s.
Compared to my 52/250, the Nait 2 does just as good a job holding the tune together, if you know what I mean. And it might actually be more fun.
but i guess with very limited volume?
