They’re not just for looking pretty, they sound gorgeous too
Air force one
Almost. But that is Halle Berry.
Executive Decision.
Continuing with the SBL love fest! Before and after (white brickwork) some rearranging, but the SBL’s remained as was.
All very stylish!
Interesting Nait 2 CB.
Yes HiFiman
My naim dealer of 35+ years here in Sydney just mentioned the other day
At one of Julian Vereker’s visit to his store they hooked up the NAIT 2 to a pair of SBL’s
My dealer couldn’t believe it - match made in heaven as they say
Now that’s a ‘solid state’ music server😉.
Very clever design. Also, I’m sure there is the potential for an ‘intellectual’ discussion of the juxtaposition of the camera being used as a light emitting, rather than a light capturing device.
Feed a good source into a Nait 2 / SBLs it will shine its currently connected to an ND5XS2 and sounds way above the sum of its parts, my daughters use the Nait daily as its in their hang out room, lucky them
A while ago I tried the Chord MScaler / DAVE into the Nait performance wise not that far apart from the 282/SC/300 I had at the time.
There is a solid state music server on the bottom shelf behind the The The album cover. Truth is I never use it. It’s too much hassle whereas trusty CDs and LPs just work.
It was a heavy, but good night…
How do you find the Sopra’s with a low ceiling, my house is similar to your in terms of low ceiling and beams, solid stone walls etc… So I decided to put them in the only room with a good ceiling height ( a gallery over the kitchen. Still need a load of acoustic panels to keep them under control, but when they are dialled in they do sound amazing! Just interested in where the bass goes with low ceilings
This is the farthest I can get in the room with a 58mm lens. Nothing new to the system, just a different perspective.
Hi @MIKEVET
Nice system and space. Just out of interest, how high is your ceiling and what are you room dimensions? I have a similar space because we extended the basement (fully insulated) when doing our extension a few years ago
I think SBL looks pretty damned fugly compared to a lovely curvy and shapely SL2
