They are amazing
I think that our esteemed Moderator Mr Dane uses, or used, a Nakamichi tape deck.
A Dragon perhaps?
Cabin system: Acoustic Energy speakers, Naim Nait, Schiit Modi Multibit DAC, phone as streamer. I keep the speakers at the cabin and bring the rest. Sounds really good. The Modi DAC is killer for the price!
Looks like a fun little setup!
Pan left and give us the fireplace and hifi in the same shot⌠at dusk.
If I could give that two âlikesâ I would.
Thank you, Iâll take a couple more tomorrow to show the vibe.
Love the chair. Both style and colour. Makes the room!
I have had lots of different Naks and still have a 700, a 582 which used to belong to Mr. Hendon of this very forum, an LX-3, and a BX-300. My ZX-9 was one of the last ones serviced and re-capped by Bowers & Wilkins before Paul stopped doing Work on Nakamichi decks. However, I sold it a few years back.
where ever you are at looks awesome.
Thanks! It is!
Old gear with new Naim Fraim glass shelves and a new stacking order. In comparison to before the sound is al little bit more defined especially in the bass. Nice upgrade!

Not mine but my father inlaws god knows how he finds or plays anything. Iâve also reported him to the stacking police.
The speakers not visible are flat against the walls with large pot plants sitting on top.
I have a fair bit of respect for that level of lived-in chaos.
I couldnât cope with it but Iâm pretty sure he doesnât wasted his days tweaking cables and dreaming of upgrades.
I can see a sort of organised chaos there. Itâs not totally random mess. Iâm betting your FIL uses phrases like âa place for everything and everything in itâs place.â
Spot on and a lot others as well.
