Unfortunately when the stacking police show up they’re gonna get told by the far cooler vintage tape deck branch that it’s a special undercover operation and as such is none of their business
Love that setup, sorry

I love it but glad it’s in someone else’s place.
How does it sound? Probably preferable to listening to the MIL yack yack yack
He very rarely plays anything expect the ABC news every morning at 8am without fail. Think he sometimes listens under the headphones.
He has good taste.
That would only be the box trust me he only eats meat and 3 veggies. Won’t eat Asian pasta rice fish or any seafood
Love the finish on the Totems ( hopefully, got that right).

Yes, that’s right, Totem Forest Signatures. They are keepers
I replaced my Credos with Forest Signatures last year. No regrets there. I’m hearing all my music with new ears. Same finish too!
Maybe you should ask him. Would be great to see the reaction🤣
I might just do that.
Great and please report back
New setup, placed in a «odd» room at the loft.
New classic, Melco N1A EX, Reloop TurnX and Kerr Acoustics K320S
None of them fully run in, but so far very pleased with the musical performance.
Switched my XS 2 for a pre loved SN3 and I must say it’s all sounding absolutely wonderful on first listen with Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits on the LP12
I kinda like it; a nice place to escape to - what are the room dimensions (L x W x H)?
Hi, Hanumike,
I too have an XS2 and I’m tempted to change it with an SN3, but I still have doubts because I read that the XS2 would have a more delicate and selective sound. Did you hear a big difference? Are you completely satisfied with the change?
Cheers, Maurizio
3x7,5m minus some and a lot of angels and a staircase in the back. It’s a loft lounge
Odd as said, but to my surprise, work very well despite it’s far from optimal.
Hi Maurizio
It’s a bit early to make any sweeping judgments as I’ve only had the opportunity to listen to a couple of albums via the LP12 this afternoon but first impressions are positive, there is definitely a big uplift in the bass department which has more omph but not in woolly sort of way, the sound stage is wider and more holographic with greater separation of individual instruments and there is just loads of Naim PRAT so I think it’s been a worthwhile upgrade even on a limited listen.
I notice your running your XS 2 with a HiCap DR so not sure how this effects the sound of the XS 2 but the general consensus on the forum is that a HiCap is a good upgrade to the SN3 so if you did take the plunge you would already have the best power supply to boost the SN3’s performance even further.
Thank you very much for your reply, I wish you more and more satisfaction with your SN3.
Good night
