Hi Oxbow, I have a mobile phone that plays wav and flac files. I just don’t like all digital set ups, never have and likely never will, no real reason than complete personal preference.
I don’t do exercise with it so no skipping and convenience is not an issue I worry about.
Please keep this quiet, because I will lose all credibility but I still have my Aiwa …
Are those Gurus same as INO Pi60s under different name or?
Hey SD,
I honestly have no idea, these are the the Q60’s, launched circa 2009 from memory.
Q10’s (well more acutely Qm10’s) first, then these came after as the big boys.
I’m keeping my Qm10s Mk1’s forever but have a mate buying my Mk2’s to create the room to adopt these.
Amazing speakers, just jaw dropping.
I would love something like this; I am sure you have said here before, but how big is it?
Hey Mark, the cabin is about 6.5 x 4.2 m from memory, covid made the cost of cabins skyrocket and got mine probably 11 years ago. Company who specialised in ski chalets and ridiculous value for money and build quality to those based in UK.
Can send you details on the company if you want, cannot speak highly enough of them. Mate went with them 5 years after mine with similar build only he went single skinned as opposed to I went double walled and insulated.
Even the single walled is genuine 4x2 staffs, no feather board.
So they did make one speaker with a grille then, my mate is very happy with my old Q10’s. Really working in a tough room.
Would love to have the details …. Please
Hi Camphuw, is that on the cabin or the speakers? Just want to make sure, can’t post commercial details as against forum rules but I believe Richard can enable direct message and I can send the details on.
Cheers
Thanks, Adam - I am not in the market at present, and I am in the USA. We want to leave this current house, as the neighborhood is deteriorating, so not predisposed to investing more in it.
But if things ever change…
It’s fine to mention a brand or supplier here. You just can’t post links to their websites.
Oh yes the cabin please.
The company is quick garden, if you Google quick garden cabins should be first one.
I went for the Essex garden room as it is now called, my friend did the same only difference being I went double skinned and insulated, he went single. It doesn’t quite double the price but at the end of the day it’s nearly double the amount of wood.
The height of the cabin keeps it out of planning rules and you just need to make sure .5m away from neighbours boundary (this was correct at the time but the company used to have a help page dedicated to all this).
They can do custom sizes but once you go over 6m wide they then want to put room divisions inside for additional support.
Both I and my mate had brilliant customer service from them and I must have had mine for over 10 years and looks as good as new.
Hope that helps, I just checked their website and their prices are still bucking the market trend. I don’t have any affiliation with them, just a happy customer.
I had the builder who was doing our extension at the time put it all together as he is a chippy by trade and did a few custom pieces. Mate used one of the companies that the log cabin company sub contracts and they did a very good job as well.
Can honestly say one of the best investments I’ve made, used all year round pretty much every day.
If I ever did something like this, I would go the route you did with it being insulated and such.
Nothing new here more than the angles. She’s dusty I know but she’s 23 years old. I’m thinking soft tooth brush might make her happy. Be kind.
Looks great, used in a home it’s gonna get a bit dusty. Let it wear its light covering with pride I say
Agreed - to keep it dustless would be a nearly daily chore!
