Not at all. Short lengths of Chord Epic (not X) with Chord Reference links between Treble and Bass. Always been a fan of this Chord cable with the KEFs. I plan to experiment with cables once everything has settled (NACA5 in the loft, too)

Me too. I had the Epic X for a while with the KEF R5 Meta. They sounded great; but were too short to hide away and therefore not popular at home…I’ve moved to the Rumour X, which I am very impressed with given how thin the cable is compared to the rest of their range. If funds permit, I will look into the Epic XL at some point, but they are eye watering expensive if you need several metres…

Audition first - I used Epic Reference (previous Epic XL) for over a year, but it was a surprisingly different sound to Epic. Might be what you want, if you like a more refined and detailed, but less energetic, sound.

Posting last years system pic as I’ve not make any changes (which is a first). K6 Signatures continue to be one of the best speakers I’ve owned. I’ve not heard a modern speaker with so much detail, scale and sheer musicality. Solstice continues to impress as does my 20+ year old 552/500.
I’ve found my sweet spot.
