It means he can get his turntable back on the rack as well! It makes sense and hopefully will sound just as good. We will hear back soon !

i had a 282, hicap, 250dr, ndx2 and cables. listened to higher level naim 300, 252, etc. before moving to aavik. for me there was no comparison.
here is my response from your previous question.
i haven’t heard a lot of the older aavik models, 300 etc. or the new axxess series but i think starting with the 280 series, i had, things are very special. my new u-588 is a dream, for me not just with exceptional sound but the simplicity. sound has all the prat i think you’ll ever want with a level of refinement and subtlety you may not be used to.
you should take a listen.

I didn’t quite register with me that he has an LP12. My way of doing things using a HRS isolation base under my turntable won’t necessarily translate to a LP12. My Clearaudio Innovation is a very different design from the LP12. What works for one might be poison for the other.

Seriously impressed with this deck.
The first one came with free Project Pick It 2m Silver (Ortofon) rebadged and I ordered this with the 2m Black, but I’ve put the Ania on it and it’s a cracking combination.
I’ve ordered a couple of Ortofon headshells that arrive tomorrow and will mount the 2m Black in one and swap out the 2M silver.
Will see how that goes before potentially looking at a Nag 200 cart and the seeing how it all compares.
I actually ended up changing the Aria phono stage to low output from the recommended high for the Ania. Also found better not to connect ground to anything and it’s silent as, if I connect to Ania I get some hum.
With this one the TT is eyeline and looks a real brute.
Thanks for the encouragement to take the plunge, some seriously good vinyl sounds going on now.

Interested to hear how you get on with the Ortofon Black. Fancy trying a Concorde Music Black on mine - the Stageline gain is quite low so wanted to try a cart with higher output.

Isn’t that a 740? I ask as I’ve had both the 540 and have a 740 on my Rega P3.
Having been doing some reading the Nagaoka 200m seems to be a real favourite.
How do you like the Pulse?
540 with RigB body (see RigB on Facebook market place). Sounds great and cheaper than a 740.
