Hi @AlexP . Thank you.

Yup aesthetics was a big consideration for my audio journey. At the end of the day it “sits’ in our lounge and both my wife and I wanted something that worked as oppose to a “studio” in our living space. Don’t get me wrong if I lived alone ….I would have something looking like “Abbey Road Studios” :joy::joy::joy:

I mean, Statement…less is more……nah!!!

New tv. Bigger, to be able to see the subtitles, as my room is bigger now.
I will have to find something to hide the tv cables. Maybe a large bonsai.

‘large bonsai’ made me laughing…

If the cables are long enough, you might be able to push them to the right hand side of the tv, and then drop them behind the room treatment in the corner ?

One small piece of trunking could be the answer and paint the trunking to blend in.

@frenchrooster you have worked wonders with your room and have only been there 5 minutes.

You are doing fantastically well. Slowly, slowly you will find a way to deal with everything.

Are you enjoying your new home?

Looking good FR.

You can get some D Trunking to hide the cables which can be painted to match your walls.

This is the one that we use.

I use pvc mini trunking painted the same colour as my walls to hide wires like those comming from your TV.

I think it would look better than a plant in your situation &, from your viewing distance, will almost look invisible.

Two pieces, one per side, would make a very neat job in my opinion. The trunking is available in various sizes, depending on how many cables you wish to go inside. The smallest size should suffice, judging from your photo.

is this the FR house topic?

Yes, agree. Some advised this and I ordered ( see post above).

Nice.

A lot of people use these slatted wall panels over here. Look neat, can hide cables underneath the flexible backing.

I would expect Monsieur Bricolage may stock it…

Yes, it’s nice and effective, from what I could see. Perhaps instead of changing the wall paper next, I can put that. But I may feel myself like on holidays in mountains, during skiing week. I would have to make a simulation first.
