As noted above, I only have one good working ear, so you don’t really want my opinion do you?
Perhaps my posting above about hearing test results makes it a bit more ‘understandable’ as to why I am both a ‘Measurement Monk’ and ‘Room Treatment Warlock’? - these technologies all help me hear great sound - the sound I heard before the virus.
So, as well as using my 1.5 ears, I frequently invite others (HiFi nuts and regular people too) to help with things.

Today was a regular person helping.
BTW, when I first met this person we got on quite well, but then when I mentioned that I was into HiFi and the amounts of money that can be spent on HiFi equipment (compared to what ‘normal’ people do) I did receive some ‘abuse’.
PS: I made an oblique reference to this at the start of my first thread.
After a while, he came to accept that there are many more of ‘us’ (not just me) and became sufficiently interested in HiFi to participate in the ‘masked randomised trial’ of Linn SO that was in one of my technical reports sent to Linn Products Ltd.
The main reason he was here today is that he has very sensitive hearing of phase and timing and absolutely does not like any equalisations being applied. Today, that was an advantage, as I could run with No SO in Linn DSM and No equalisation set in Naim CI-102.
Two experimental setups were used (Magico Titan 15 was Off and out of circuit for these tests). Test track was same throughout, streaming from Tidal (Max):- Pink Floyd Wish: You Were Here, Wish You Were Here (HD).
First experiments are A/B listening (via app control input selection changes).
- Naim CI-102 → Linn Klimax DSM 3 → Linn Solo 800 → Magico M2
For the first run through, Naim CI-102 was the source into Linn Klimax DSM using AV bypass unity gain on Analogue 1 input (RCA), 2V sensitivity on input setting.
For the second run through Naim CI-102 not involved, Linn Klimax DSM, with matched gain setting to the Naim CI-102 output level established prior to the tests.
Second experiments are A/B listening (via amp off/cable changeover/amp on)
For first run through, Linn Klimax DSM 3 → Linn Solo 800 → Magico M2
Pre-amplifier out cable switchover.
For second run through, Naim CI-102 → Linn Solo 800 → Magico M2
