You know I’d love too I’ve seen what an upgrade can do for Dan, it’s cheered up so much it should covered by the NHS.

But in reality I’m just not in the position, the building is costing more than I anticipated. I’m not worried cause we want it finished properly. Just means I don’t have the cash right now, but I’ve said that before.

Oh and I forgot I’d love to be in a position to help my dealer.

Yep

Noting @Mike_S current issue

I’m dreading the time comes when Harry pulls up stumps, there just doesn’t seem to be any dealer network anymore

Be time for me to pull up stumps also I reckon

I’ll spare you from that, it’ll definitely be the building.

I might report but it’ll never include photos.

Not for a 552, too specialist according to my dealer. I image support would be limited to be sending it to the UK and I’m not sure I’m up to having it sent there. I expect Chris will sort it - fingers crossed.

Yes damn practicalities such as healthcare and pensions can make moving overseas to somewhere more glamorous more difficult. In my case I am tethered to the NZ health system for monthly iv infusions at $7k a pop. Not many countries would want to take that on. Plus I am close to Martinborough. The 1 hour drive gets me to some great Pinot noir vineyards and restaurants . So life is good.

Tasmanian I hope? Had a Tasmanian sparkling at Christmas , in January I bought another bottle - again for Christmas, if this seems a little odd, some smaller vineyard wines can be difficult to track down and I wanted to get my hands on it while I still could

This is crazy @Bevo. Now, I know auditory memorial is not the most reliable of things, but I’d swear that the upgraded LP12 (pretty much at Seleck level) through the Star sounds better than the old LP12 through the 552/300. Even the ND555 through Star beats the NDX2/XPSDR/SN2 set up I had I reckon. Crazy stuff. Gosh, can’t wait to run the LP12 through the 552/300 - it will be immense.
