He tells me the biggest seller in quite a number of venues is Guinness these days the guys and gals love it

We had 17° after a wet morning. Will be getting to low 20’s next week, which is pretty warm for the end of August. Had beer and chips on the deck.

Woke up to the sound of heavy rain, 
hope all those at the Reading festival ( ten miles away ) have bought ponchos and wellingtons , and have waterproof tents

I’ve got 4 versions of a favourite Aussie singer/songwriters big selling album, one a WAV rip from a 30 plus year cd, one that’s a 16/44.1 WAV file that was remastered in 2009 and one that’s 24/44.1 WAV file that was remastered in 2024. Plus the original cd.
Oddly enough after playing them one after the other the original rip (cd quality) sounded the best. The new 24/44.1 file had the most energy but was a bit harsh and didn’t have the warmth of the original.
