And the new dogš
Or 2
Well chill out , take it easy , let your good wife look after you as Iām sure she will
Youāre a lucky man
Thatās it Gazza what do you know about it, apparently it is only used in relapse cases.
It,s offered on the NHS over here where other treatments fail/ relapse. However, only for those under 25 years of age. There is a body ironically called NICEā¦ā¦.who decide on the cost benefit to the NHS of treatments. Good old Oz for looking after youš
Reading a bit further, i think the use in older adults is fairly newā¦ā¦.might want to ask your oncologist for some more background.
My doctor didnāt mention age, just that itās a better option if it returns as they wonāt put me through another stem cell transplant.
Itās all a bit scary.
Excellent - well done Pete. Keep fighting.
Iām just sneaking in a coffee before I have to fast for a ct scan this morning. Iām also enjoying my best health for over 2 months.
Excellent, not about the Fasting/Scanš«¤, but about the level of health and a nice cup of coffeeš
Glad youāre feeling a bit more of your old self today Petešš¼
Nuts Pete
Iām down in Southern Highlands - reached 25 today which is unheard of
Probably snow tomorrow
That was at Taree around midday
Wowzer, itās only reached that about once all summer here
If it goes on, you will all be emigrating to Tasmania
Best wishes
Ian
Donāt think Tasmania is getting this unseasonably high temperatures for this time of year. It just went from a cold winter to a hot spring in a week. All the trees and wildlife are confused snakes have surfaced already.
Just got some good news from my oncologist the CT scan I had today showed my lungs have finally cleared. Apparently I did end up with pneumonia and it had left spots on my lungs. We still need confirmation from the respiratory specialist on Monday.
Which now means that Iāll have my hard drive deleted on Wednesday the 11th. Iāll then get a new operating system (my stem cells) the following Monday, another 3 weeks laying around doing nothing (except annoying nurses) and Iāll be home a new man.
The stem cell transplant is a tough process but my options are donāt do it and Iāve got 2-3 years at best. Have the transplant and itās goes to 4-8 years before it comes back.
Best news is that Iām feeling much better even had a glass of wine (or 2).
I hope it was Langmeilā¦
Ian
If we can meet up next year, I have a bottle for you and Sue ā¦
Best wishes
Ian
It depends but I think I do have at least one my trip in me.
I remember a session with my uncle just before I went to the Middle East in the early ā90ās with several bottles of Coonawarra.
I say āREMEMBERā, what I actually mean is I know it happened.
Bloody MARVELOUS!
Pleased that things seem to be going in the right direction for you Pete.
Roll on October
