I stopped reading the printed news years ago, here most are controlled by Murdoch who isn’t really known for his balanced account of things and views. His son is suing a local news site here for just saying that so much for freedom of speech.

Summer has finally arrived here, around 26°C, clear sunny mornings, heat showers at 3pm. Pools 27°C. Works finished for a few weeks or more. Brothers visiting over the break.

Same here we’re expecting high 20s to mid 30s for the next week. That’s a relief as the place we have booked has a pool and these grandkids are from Qld and they’d whinge it was cold otherwise.
