The Grand Cafe

I guess this is a potato trying to become a rat.

Not entirely sure this is a potato though, never seen it this size.

Found it in a cupboard in my house.

Beetroot?

Looking again and I think you’re right. I’ve always found beetroot more sophisticated than potatos.

I always thought a carrot was reasonably intelligent

Ten days stuck in a hotel room in Malta :malta:, what was worse ten days stuck in a hotel room that had permanent shade I could not even enjoy the lovely Maltese sunshine :sun_with_face: .

Fortunately no real symptoms other than massive fatigue

Came back to a helluva telling off from my cat

Count me out I’m laying low. I am arranging a home care nurse, the criteria is simple and I’m doing the interviews.

The one carrying the giant Toblerone should be interviewed😉

I remember your posts. It ruined your trip and delayed your return if memory serves me correctly
We got it in Italy last year. Caught it halfway through our trip in Bologna. It spoilt our time in Verona & Milan.
We were both booster vaccinated at the end of October and were hoping that would protect us, but it seems not🤷🏻‍♂️
It now seems intent on spoiling our Christmas :man_facepalming:t2:

It’s a week from now, I guess you would be healthy again by then.

Having said that, I need to get a self test too. Spent my day in bed yesterday.

Sadly, we are supposed to see our Son and family on Thursday. We need to test negative before he can bring our 2 year old grandson and pregnant daughter in law through the door. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Unfortunately you are very, very unlikely to test negative by Thursday
