I remember them in Singapore. Incredibly aggressive. Also clever - they use their larvae as glue tubes to stick the leaves together.
Hope all goes well next week Pete, stressful time with the hospital visit and concrete pouring.
As for the concreteā¦ā¦find and eat the chicken firstā¦ā¦wish you the best mateš
When extending Mrs Willyās workshop we knocked through the wall and cast a new floor in what is now her polishing room.
Next morning.
Willy.
My NDX2 is packed and ready to go back to my dealer to get that pesky din relay connection fixed.
And Iām all packed ready hit the road early for my doctors appointment tomorrow morning.
Hopefully both will be fixed and returned back home.
Been see the specialist this morning she is young, friendly and straight to the point. I have low grade B cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Just had 11 vials of blood taken and back again on the 27th. If she canāt see which type Iāll have a bone marrow biopsy.
Hopefully weāll get good news.
Is low grade good news then?
Apparently itās treatable but canāt be cured. Probably know more after the 27th.
Weāre trying to avoid looking things up online as doctor Google isnāt always correct.
Agree Pete
Avoid Dr google as that will make you spin
Low grade should be ok and it is treatable with a pill daily I believe I reckon youāll be fine
I go to RPA Lifehouse cancer level every 6 months to have blood tested as evidently I have a slight elevated level of white blood cells
Been going on for 12 years ( keeps the Doc in a job I guess not to mention heās a lovely guy )
Everything stable ( why am I still going you might ask !!!)
He says Iāll probably die of the dreaded L but will be 95 when that happens
I had one of those. The doctor took it out of my lower spine just above my arse. She kept saying, this may hurt, but it never did.
At least she got to see my arse ā¦ lucky her ā¦
Very good to hear, Pete.
I will second that
You can have 3 options here, one just a local which she said she wouldnāt, two a local and the green whistle which I canāt and three knock me out. Guess which one Iāll be choosing.
Well, it was never going to be āGoodā news, but of all the bad news it sounds like you got the best.
Letās hope the biopsy isnāt required.
Whatās an extra pill a day
Good to hear. Howās Mrs Pete, somewhat relieved Iāll bet?
Sounds good news Peteš
That sounds potentially like a manageable condition, thinking of you Pete.
Booked in for a PET scan next Wednesday and a brain MRI on Friday, the brain scan shouldnāt take too much time.
Good luck Pete and donāt forget to add the PET scan pic to the pet pics thread!
