The Grand Cafe

I remember them in Singapore. Incredibly aggressive. Also clever - they use their larvae as glue tubes to stick the leaves together.

Solid green light, we have a new access point.

Hope all goes well next week Pete, stressful time with the hospital visit and concrete pouring.

When extending Mrs Willyā€™s workshop we knocked through the wall and cast a new floor in what is now her polishing room.

Next morning.

My NDX2 is packed and ready to go back to my dealer to get that pesky din relay connection fixed.

And Iā€™m all packed ready hit the road early for my doctors appointment tomorrow morning.

Hopefully both will be fixed and returned back home.

Been see the specialist this morning she is young, friendly and straight to the point. I have low grade B cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Just had 11 vials of blood taken and back again on the 27th. If she canā€™t see which type Iā€™ll have a bone marrow biopsy.
Hopefully weā€™ll get good news.

Is low grade good news then?

Apparently itā€™s treatable but canā€™t be cured. Probably know more after the 27th.

Weā€™re trying to avoid looking things up online as doctor Google isnā€™t always correct.

Agree Pete

Avoid Dr google as that will make you spin

Low grade should be ok and it is treatable with a pill daily I believe I reckon youā€™ll be fine

I go to RPA Lifehouse cancer level every 6 months to have blood tested as evidently I have a slight elevated level of white blood cells

Been going on for 12 years ( keeps the Doc in a job I guess not to mention heā€™s a lovely guy )

Everything stable ( why am I still going you might ask !!!)

He says Iā€™ll probably die of the dreaded L but will be 95 when that happens :flushed:

I had one of those. The doctor took it out of my lower spine just above my arse. She kept saying, this may hurt, but it never did.
At least she got to see my arse ā€¦ lucky her ā€¦

You can have 3 options here, one just a local which she said she wouldnā€™t, two a local and the green whistle which I canā€™t and three knock me out. Guess which one Iā€™ll be choosing.

Well, it was never going to be ā€œGoodā€ news, but of all the bad news it sounds like you got the best.
Letā€™s hope the biopsy isnā€™t required.
Whatā€™s an extra pill :pill: a day :man_shrugging:t4:
Good to hear. Howā€™s Mrs Pete, somewhat relieved Iā€™ll bet?

That sounds potentially like a manageable condition, thinking of you Pete.

Booked in for a PET scan next Wednesday and a brain MRI on Friday, the brain scan shouldnā€™t take too much time.

Spent most of the day at A&E with Mum, who dislocated her shoulder.

Now a Friday beer on a hot evening.
