The only pertinent italian rooster I know of is on the neck or label of a Chianti Classico wine bottle.

Thanks Ian had a couple of good days last night with an old art school pal to see Rickie Lee Jones stayed overnight at his place. He and wife have always been good people. A relaxing trip home by train with entertainment (long story) and I’ve just got home from dinner with friends tonight. Mrs Pete is at her mother’s till Monday, she’s been my rock.

Hopefully your knee will allow you to have a good long weekend, normally you’d mark Easter as your start of warmer weather. It’s a bit early this year and you might have to wait a few more weeks.

Anyway have a great weekend.

If it is looks like a cable thread, behaves like a cable thread and is even called ‘speaker cable’, it probably is a cable thread:

Do remember with loudspeakers if a critically measuring the impedance, you need to it with a signal generator when it’s generating audio in the room, as the room coupling will affect the reactive elements of the impedance. Looking at a speaker impedance graph passively decoupled from the room it is in could be a little inaccurate. Not sure Stereophile magazine did this ! Possibly accounts for it sounds better than it measures statements you see from time to time, as well as some speakers needin…
