Hi @IDAK I’m hoping you’re right, I had one removed in ‘82 that was a bit of problem. Just keeping my fingers crossed that it won’t add to my my concerns.

That works for me.

Back in Newcastle for 2 days of chemo starting tomorrow, then 2 weeks of blood tests and stem cell harvesting. However right now I’m enjoying a beer and then a nice dinner with Mrs Pete.

All good Pete

Is that little creatures dark ale good ?

Not sold on their other stuff

Me neither but I’m quite enjoying my second scooner.

My late brother raved about Little Creatures but I was never convinced, but this brown ale is rather good.

Is it Australian :flushed:

If it’s Australian and called ‘Little Creatures’ I’d hate to think what nasty little critters go into it @Mike_S:thinking: :spider: :snake: :scream:

Ian sent me something about not taking the snake that bite you to hospital in Queensland, I don’t have to worry about that they’re already there. The photo below is from gardens in my hospital.

Yep it’s a brewery, think they’re in WA.

Little Creatures is brewed in Freemantle, Geelong and Auckland. There maybe a couple of Kiwi creatures in there as well.

I’m looking forward to more Australian beers when we return in July.

Where are you going to, Qld?

Yes, same place as last time, Marcolla, on the Sunshine Coast. 10 nights this time and a night each way in Auckland to keep it easy. We’re really looking forward to it.

I wanted to go to Port Douglas, but Mrs Mike doesn’t like the heat.

Next year might be the Grand Tour to Old Blighty, I’m keen to go via Tahiti and Sam Fransisco and return via Singapore. But I need to save the required readies…

I lived in Port Douglas for about 8 months it won’t be that hot in July, mid 20s it is still winter.

Port Douglas in July is very pleasant. I took the family there way back in 2000. As I remember there was an epic Bledisloe cup match won for nz in the last minute by Jona Lomu. We went swimming off the same island the crocodile hunter Steve Irwin was killed and fortunately had no stingray encounters. It’s a great place.

Was that the Low Islands, spent a lot of time out there. The girl I was going out with use to work on the Quicksilver cruises, use to get free trips.

I think so. They were not as far out as the reef and had a tower ? Lighthouse on it.

Mid twenties sounds like our summer…
