Sure
I think we can rely on at least two PSU’s in the way you suggest.
But I also have the idea of a three step solution, (good - better - best), for the New Classic fascia.

Also noting, the 555PS will continue, for the time being.

So, I am also wondering if there is space for an entry level PSU ?
(Replacement for the much loved HiCap).

Interesting ideas there. I’m thinking we should expect at least two PSU options. Maybe NPX 200 and NPX 300. However, it would be nice to see a good - better - best approach. With the entry level as a shoe box size replacement for HC, which could be used in lots of different ongoing ways. For example, with XS3, SN3 and their eventual successor. To 222 or not 222?

The NVC-TT, (also seen as NVC-331 on some websites) is certainly a curiousity. It looks to be expected around June time. Looking at those USD $ prices, my assumption is UK MRRP will be about £3k, (or maybe similar to existing SuperLine @ £2,799) Steve has said it cannot be powered by the new NXT-300. Fair enough. It can be powered direct from the NSC222, with the 8 pin DIN arrangement. So, we might assume a similar arrangements will be available on other 200 & 300 pre-amp / control units. I…
