If you were in UK an easy path would be to source an nDAC for use with 555PSDR - same excellent DAC as NDS. Then any good quality transport can be used. We chose an NDX2 mainly because of system automation.
Sounds like your options might be somewhat more limited.
Apart from the lack of a connection with anything naim and the terrible design, I hope they have permission from the film studio to use that copyrighted poster image and title logo.
I donāt think GeoffC was being rude ā he was simply wondering if Naim had permission to use the image (which is probably protected).
I too question the connection to Naimā¦
I donāt consider @GeoffC ās response to be rude but I think your rather aggressive response is rude. As a graphic designer who worked for Naim for many years I think he has far more skin in the game than everyone else here
Just read the information about the new 350 on Naimās website. Have also read the information about the 200 series before. What has happened?
The way of writing is considerably more smooth and platitudes emphasized than before. The website used to be technical driven, full of interesting details but now it looks more like a completely non-technical advertising company has written the content?
Iāll say this, the 222/250 on their own sound great, way better than I was expecting. Iām sitting here wondering how much better it can get with the 555. Legacy cable will hopefully be here by the weekend.
Yes, you would use the Bi-amp socket on the SN, or, if you have a dedicated power supply on the pre-amp, one of the pre-outs on the power supply; in both cases itās a DIN4 output.
