Received this afternoon

and now playing

This was the quickest delivery from Naim I have experienced (less than a month). The RCA to DIN lead was set to back order though. The dealer however kindly loaned one so I could connect the streamer too.

What RCA to din lead are you getting? I’m looking at getting a Shawline from chord or something. Haven’t had any spare cash since purchasing the Nait-50.

I ordered a Naim standard (grey) IC cable, like this

but configured as 2 RCA to 5 pin DIN.

This is the one from Naim £129 1m or £149 2m from your dealer.

Thanks for sharing this, I desperately need to make this lead my next purchase. Just not sure if I should go for the Naim grey lead now, or a chord Shawline? Din to RCA.:+1:

I would recommend you use the Naim cable. However, if you should choose a lead from another manufacturer, be sure to specify RCA to DIN (not DIN to RCA), firstly because of cable directionality, but secondly to ensure it connects to the correct (input) pins on the DIN plug.

Your welcome.
I’d go Naim it’s what was intended for it.
I don’t like non equipment manufacturers cables. :+1:t2:

If you are in the UK, I think Chord have a “library” of cables for loan/trial, I suggest asking your dealer or use the Cable Doctor part of their website.
Perhaps the dealer who sold you the amp can help?

Clive, skeptikal thanks for the advice. I’m now heavily leaning towards the Naim cable. As I should of said, it will have to be an RCA to Din and not the other way around. Thank you for correcting me on this! This will be my next purchase come pay day next week. :+1:
