Do you have the original UQ or the UQ2? The original had to be upgraded with a 24/192 digital board to work with the Naim app, but I hear the upgrade is no longer available.

It is a very early UQ2 - says UnitiQute on the back and has RS232 connector but Naim HQ has confirmed that it is a UQ2.

Already got it planned out for my daughter. ProAc tab 10 signatures in white, white Rega turntable and some small streamer (maybe LUMIN Mini U2). It will be so cute, she better love it or it will look great in my bedroom.

I see you use Harbeth P3ESRs. How are you getting on with them. I am trying them out with an Auralic Altair G1 and chromes NAC42/NAP110 and so far once finding a good setup together with the system nice and warmed up, find them pretty good I must say. Precise midrange and clarity. Not 100% sure with bass, but it’s important to have the setup right and a good distance to the listening position. Certainly not a boring speaker at all, quite captivating.

Naim SBL vs LS3/5a

I have been listening to the Sound Artist and Falcon LS3/5a, the Falcons lent to me by Trevor at Guildford Audio, and thought I would put them up against the SBLs. I used a pair of weighty stands positioned three feet from the rear wall and side walls. I have to say that in order to install the speakers badly I think you would have to actively TRY. Placed to form a triangle with your listening position and angled towards you these deliver. The speakers would now be powered by my Naim 300DR, in…
