Yours for £1500 new !
Could anyone recommend what small standmount speakers are considered to work well with this amp?, around the size of the AE1 or smaller thanks id like to eventually buy some speakers to go with it.

My Nait 50 is in a smallish room, great results with the Proac Tab 10 sigs on the end. The N50 drives them well, perfect for the room.

I picked up the Auralic Vega S1 for my Nait 50. And am very happy with it.
Same form factor as well, which to me is a plus.
I know a few others have gone this route as well.
Perhaps Naim will someday launch a DAC/streamer combo in the Nait 50 style. Although i think if they had something in mind they would have already done it.

Well I use a DAVE with the Nait50… and that little amp communicates much of that wonderful vibe and musical atmosphere that that DAC is capable of… and if I am honest I prefer the N50s performance with that DAC over my 552DR/250 which to my ears slightly veered to being a little unpleasantly forward in the upper mids on some hot recordings. The N50 is quite a warm and sweet sounding app… that works well with revealing wide bandwidth sources… and just about all production styles.
Need to be careful with interconnects to sound most natural and non-exaggerated … pure copper non coaxial DNM leads with HFTN work the best for my ears and speakers… everything appears to click into place. Oh yes the little N50 seems to positively benefit from full fat Fraim in my setup… with plenty of ventilation around it.

The room is not too large and the chair does get moved around as needed. But yes it’s a bit of an illusion, there is space in front of the speaker, enough that to me it doesn’t effect the sound. Also my wife’s crochet yarn makes great bass traps

I have my Nait 50 with Auralic Vega S1 +PSU hooked up to Diapason Micra III Excel stand mounted speakers. Great combination with excellent SQ. Won’t be changing this for a long time.

It’s good to read that so many are enjoying their NAIT 50s.
I’m planning to strip my system down next weekend for a full spring clean, and as my own office system based ‘50 hasn’t been getting much use over the last month, I’ve moved it temporarily into the lounge system…
Slotted in between my Klimax DSM and Titan 606s, it’s sounding mighty fine and not outclassed at all by the front end and speakers. A remarkable little amp.

What cable would I require to attach a Dac via rca to the connections please ?. is there are difference between rca to din and din to rca?. Thanks in advance.
You need a cable wired as an input cable. Usually if it is described as RCA to DIN then it should be wired appropriately on the DIN end - worth checking with the supplier to be sure. The NAIT 50 shows the pins that need to be wired at the DIN end on the back panel on the little diagram above the two DIN5 input sockets.
