The new NAIT 50 Limited Edition

Limetree DAC at a very good price on a certain auction site at present (no affiliation to me).

An ex dem Chord Qutest will arrive here on monday. Together with my Wiim Ultra and N50 this will make the musicsystem in our hut. (It’s located by the sea, one hour drive from home, so it’s quite often in use).

Allae speakers at the moment, but will be replaced by som standmonts due to limited space. Which one, I don’t know yet, but I’m tempted by the LS3/5a principle or similar.
Cheers :blush:

@Stover

Good set up Stover

The Naim Allaes are really good speakers , Naim got it spot on with them for quality and price

I traded mine in and Lo and behold my brother bought them from my dealer - still in use today and he loves them, not going anywhere

That’s almost what I now have in the office, but WiiM pro plus rather than ultra. Great fun and has brought my little wall-mounted speakers to life. Hope you enjoy yours.

Here’s mine taking up a temporary position until i decide where to use it. Ā£1199 ex dem was the breaking point.

Are you happy with your Grimm MU-1?
I may try one in our system too, hence the question.

Best regards, BF

Hi Bluesfan, yes very happy with the mu1. I think it does deserve all the plaudits that it’s received.:+1::+1::+1:

A genuine bargain at that price.

Six year warranty as well

Well I paid approx £1800 for mine and considered it a bargain then and the amp is one of the best

I must resist.

You know you want one !

I already have one. But fancy another !

I’ve figured how to get around the lack of remote with hate N50, whilst setting Dave up in preamp mode and using the chord remote to control volume

However, whilst having a tear down and rebuild with fewer shelfs I seem to have received a random inspection from the ā€œFraim Pawliceā€ which we thankfully passed without issue…

@The_Lecht_Rocks

Go on get another

Like you I wanted another and so just went for it

In different systems 100kms apart

It will go down in naim history as iconic

I’ve no REAL need for it as covered in my snug and main living space with adequate amplification.
But I just can’t shake the capability, sound and enjoyment it would offer over in the main living area driving my TX-9s.
I may experiment this weekend……

Get a second and run them in mono-bloc mode! :grinning:

Yesterday I decided to back to back the N50 with my SN3/HCdr. I’ve had the SN3 on the shelf waiting on a decision. Today the SN3 is boxed up and now in storage. The N50, depth of the soundstage, the deep punchy bass, clarity, separation, grip on my speakers blah blah blah… How can such a small box be so good??? Not to do down the SN3 which I have loved, but in my space, with my set up and ears it’s just not a contest and is no doubt a matter of preference but just wow..
