If you find ET majorly inhibiting @castalla then research ‘Focus Ultrasound’. It’s being used in a fairly pioneering way at our university hospital, to great effect.

Thanks for that - I’ll try with my gp. Although it sounds spooky!
Nothing much to do this afternoon.
For some reason I’ve got the urge to lubricate a pair of 50 year old calipers.
Went an bought a new speed square and a second hand sparge water heater.
Other than that I’ve mostly been crafting my gf’s mothersday present, while being ordered around by my 6 year old daughter. She’ll make a great fore(wo)man one day.
We spent a couple of days up in Liverpool and got back yesterday. We really enjoyed ourselves and there was lots to see. I had only ever done work trips to the city before, and so finally had some time to take a proper look around. Our hotel was on Hope Street and there were some beautiful Georgian houses and squares nearby. Good food and wine too. Some views from the top of the Anglican cathedral and a view from inside the catholic one too (a beautiful space). Had to take an obvious quick picture in Mathew Street too.
Walked a couple of hundred metres with my morning coffee and enjoyed it here.
Later did some gardening, my helper wasn’t exactly helpful.
Now watching the Giro highlights whilst dinner is in the oven and sipping a glass of Chianti.
Trying to work out whether thats Peacehaven or Pourville.
All conrods checked ok with newly calibrated mic
I’ve lightly oiled them, wrapped them in clingfilm and put them under the bed with the cylinder head and crankshaft.

LOL,
OTOH my wife has half a dozen knitting machines under her bed. So who am I to argue
Sounds a great day out.
The martinis at Dukes are great. Personally I think the ones at the Connaught are even better. But maybe not as fearsome.
Do NOT encourage him

The former, close to the Bastion Steps.
Something I have only done once before, I walked out of a cinema mid -presentation
The film ? David Attenborough’s Ocean, the scenes of industrial fishing and long-lining were horrific and I didn’t want to see anymore
I’ll have to wait until it streams.
I suspect it will probably confim what I already beleive about humans being the parasites of the Earth.
Teatro Comunale, Ferrara, last night.
Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale RAI, Andrés Orozco-Estrada.
Prelude a l’apres-midi d’un faune
Respighi, Rossiniana
Le Sacre du Printemps.
Prelude a little suffocated by the Rossiniana, but an excellent Sacre.
Mowed the lawn because my wife said it had to done today for several reasons. It was very dusty so I wore a face mask. And I turned off my hearing aids as I always do as the mower is quite noisy, which is why I didn’t hear anything out of the ordinary.
All went well until I later went into the sitting room to find that the outer pane of one window of the front ground floor bay had broken, looks like by a stone thrown up by the mower. This is bad news because the double glazed units are old Everest with Georgian bars inside and I suspect getting a replacement unit that matches the others is going to be difficult, slow and expensive.
Probably not re the bars? If you are prepared to bear the cost, gat a vanilla replacement (if you need to) and get the bars set in to a new unit. There are plenty of places about who make up units.
