I’m not sure what mixed comments there are out there Matteo, but I have only found no compromise benefits of Powerlines. On the Radikal it gives great benefit, again with no compromises.
Further clarity about what I meant. The track’s presentation changed with the Keel. The soundstage from front to back became huge, the drums went way behind the speakers and guitars to the front. Not stereo anymore.

I think I must have the new belt, I was told by John at Audio-t that its changed, it felt noticeably different when I was fitting it.
I have some unused older belts and they feel smoother than the one I got with the Radikal.
Assuming mine is the new one, it’s still black.
When FanglessFlyer said there is a new one, I Googled it and there are some pics of a very light belt. It must just be a garbage pic.
The cirkus bearing (and the newer one with tighter tolerances) were/are too much for the older steel sub chassis. Makes much more musical sense with the Kore/Keel etc.
Never heard anyone say that before. What do you mean by “too much”?
If I recall correctly when Cirkus was introduced, the standard sub chassis was the only chassis in town.
The Cirkus preceded other sub chassis in the LP12’s development.
Therefore, Linn must have originally engineered it to work on that chassis.
I was thinking how nice it is to have a thread discussing things to do with the LP12 especially as Linn closed their Forum down.

Well yes, it seemed to me that the Naim forum would be the next best place as many Naim users are also Linn users, like the old flat earth days.
Maybe the title of this thread needs amending as the discussion has progressed.
Yes Richard, I agree. Threads about the LP12, Naim speakers, classic CB or Olive systems really float my boat. Streaming, computerised audio, switches and Ethernet cables are not my thing tbh.

Only my opinion but it was too analytical and lost the groove factor. Never was a big fan until I heard the cirkus with the Kore and Keel.

Not exactly, the original circus bearing came out with a slightly different steel subchassis which you had to use with it, it was ‘double’ thickness where the bearing bolted to the subchassis.
