Unitiqute2 network/display issues

Hi all
I have an older UnitiQute2 with a black display, common issue, but i had no problem in using my phone to control it.
Now I have got a new router with different IP adress - now I have problems.
Any way to set up a new connection without the display ??

First you could try pointing the camera on your phone at the screen in a dark room. You may find that you can see it clearly enough to use it.

If that doesn’t work a factory reset would restore the unit to default settings, which would be wired Ethernet and DHCP.

It might not be possible for you, but I use wired network connection so the 2 last time I changed routers I had no problem or settings to change manually on my UnitiQute v1 with dead screen too.

Found this:-

Also make sure your Qute is connected via ethernet as it will be impossible to configure the Qute to connect via WiFi without a screen.

If the Qute was connected via WiFi previously and you dont want to reset your Qute you could try to set the new router WiFi SSID (WiFi broadcast name) and password the same as the previous router, has to be exact though.

You would also need to make sure the new router uses the same IP number range.

Only if the Qute had a fixed IP and not set to obtain from DHCP

Yes, true.
