Strangely enough I’ve already got this one as an OJC reissue (correction - it is by Fresh Sounds) and the pressing is pretty good. It came out as a CD as well.
Ahhhh…those were the days
Cimarons = magic.
Good tip. Enjoying on Tidal.

There’s also a Jerry Jones 45 coming which isn’t my cup of tea but gives me hope that they’ll reissue Still Water at some point ![]()
Peter Somauh - Walking Distance, ACT (2026)
I like Peter Somauh a lot his last record was excellent and the first record available from Walking Distance a track called Roundabout is very good too and at £21 for a well produced record which ACT almost always are is excellent value.
The Awakening - Hear, Sense, Feel, Black Jazz/RGM (2026)
Real Gone Music have reissued this brilliant 1972 Black Jazz Records release a couple of times on these splattered vinyls which will still cost you around £50 inc post and taxes originals can change hands for £500 plus.
I’m going to take the plunge on this blue splatter ‘remastered’ reissue for just under £30 The follow up Mirage is also being reissued on the same coloured vinyl on the same day.
The Oscar Peterson Trio - Affinity, Verve/Acoustic Sounds (2026)
For me less is definitely more when it comes to Oscar Peterson his version of I’m A Fool To Want You the record that showed have closed the record is exceptional the record that does close it Yours Is My Heart Alone is too much Oscar Peterson.
‘Grace Under Pressure - Super Deluxe Edition’ - Rush
The band’s 10th album from 1984 - and a favourite of mine. Features brand-new Terry Brown mix commissioned by Geddy Lee & Alex Lifeson (album originally produced by Peter Henderson). Also includes the complete concert film & album of the Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto show from September 21, 1984. One for @QuickSticks?
Yeah, not sure about this one @Isca_Dumnoniorum. ![]()
Big £££’s again for a good album, but not one of the “greats” for me…![]()
Shabaka - Of The Earth, Shabaka Records (2026)
Shabaka Hutchings plays everything on this record including saxophone after an 18 month or so break from the instrument he also raps apparently. I’m a huge fan and the first two tracks streamed on Tidal are very good I look forward to the rest March 6th.
