I recently bought a Jaguar F type, probably the last big engine car I will buy……The sound of it is great!
My wife has an f pace hybrid, lovely machine and very luxurious but it has next to no sound and it’s heavy with the big battery, you really have to spot your breaking points early.
Lovely! I really want a Spyder as my weekend car (not that my 911 gets much weekday mileage at the moment). Been trying to figure out the colour. I’m guessing it’s PTS? If so, I’m thinking Oslo Blue? Which would be my choice if I ever got a PTS slot.
EDIT: Scratch that, I’ve seen a few more photos and am thinking it’s more likely to be Shark Blue (aka Cornflower Blue on VW).
Hello, yes, It’ s Shark Blue, premium range, not PTS. It’ s very light dependent, very nice in the sunlight, pretty cold tone indoor. Nicer still is PTS Arrow Blue, a bit lighter with more Yellow hue.
Here in EU, Production ended in ‘23, then continued in ‘24 with RS models. In US probably they continued with GTS and RS models up to ‘25. At the moment i don’t know. It seems they lost the plot now. The 983 full electric that nobody want is delayed, so they’ll also reintroduce ICE or hybrid engines but only for high end variants it seems.
Thanks for sharing. Porsche has an incredible range of blues in its PTS range, but Shark Blue is still very nice. It is the same in NZ in terms of production. The 718 RS models don’t appeal to me, but I would love to own either a 987, 981 or 718 Spyder as my weekend car. There is currently a lovely GT Silver 718 Spyder for sale here, but I can’t justify buying another Porsche in the current climate. Anyway, I love my 991.2 Carrera T and can’t see myself ever parting with it.
Is it worth getting an additional warranty? You can get these from non BMW independent companies. When I had my 63 plate 520D it came with a 3 month warranty. I made claims for EGR valve replacement and coil spring. The warranty company paid most of the bill, but not all of it. Going forwards I would use independent garages as BMW charge a fortune for repairs and servicing.
A 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 with AMG styling in Jupiter Red, nothing special but I think it’s a great looking car. I’ve had it for about 2½ years now.
My neighbour had the “All Agro” with quartic steering wheel and bodywork in a pinkish hue. I’m not sure if the colour was factory correct but this was later in the 70s when he had it.
