2000/1 - Vinyl - Kid A / Amenisiac
The twin albums or separated at birth if you prefer.
Even lovelier by the weekend, no doubt!
Batucada - Sound of the Favelas, on first UK pressing. A high energy 180bpm dance compilation frenzy, a little repetitive perhaps, but a stunning (double) album in places that needs to be played loud!
The album through which I discovered Cara Dillon, one recommended on here, and still as delightful as the first time I played.
I took a listen to this when it was first posted - tremendous album Ewemon!
thanks for posting - I missed this & am happy to catch up with this now, sounding good.
What to play next? I know, more Sandy. This time, the best of the BBC recordings.

Don’t have that one so just ordered it - thanks
Voice of an angel… sad ?!
Indeed the voice of an Angel, but the lifestyle of a very wild one. So very sad, but how lucky we are to be able still to listen to her records.
I always wanted a poster of the man rock climbing picture in that booklet.
On vinyl…
The RSD double vinyl release from last year is worth seeking out. A great record.
Anoushka Shankar - Traces of You
One of the best records I’ve discovered so far this year.
