David Sylvian - Brilliant Trees

Streaming on TIDAL… continuing on with the exploration of David’s catalogue and going with the mention from @ bhoyo earlier today and giving Brilliant Trees a spin. Sounding mighty fine on the opening track!

What a beautiful voice. She reminds me of Lianne La Havas. The album is produced by Bonobo.

John Eliot Gardiner - Bach B Minor Mass

We enjoyed glorious Church Music at Gloucester Cathedral yesterday with friends followed by a long lunch mostly spent drinking red wine and later coffee in the garden. Another glorious sunny day ahead, and what better way to start it than this beautiful mass declaring the triumph over death, before a trip to the Abbey House Gardens Malmesbury.

This is a nice playlist for relaxation although I hate that they don’t strip out those greyed tracks which won’t play…

One of my favourite players, Bill Frisell on another great live set, this time from just three years ago…

Also enjoyed Chiaroscuro Quartet doing Schubert “Death and the Maiden”, thanks to a shout out by @anon4489532 in another thread… both on Tidal, both helping me ease into a beautiful Easter Monday morning with sunshine and the very last lump of snow hiding by the back corner of our yard…
