@Eoink, hi Eoin yes it does have the Elgar (and Haydn) on disc 1, recorded at Abbey Road studios in '67, great music wonderfully played.

Working Class Hero was included in a playlist I just listened to so I thought that why not play the full album too – it’s been awhile.

When they’ve tortured and scared you for twenty odd years / Then they expect you to pick a career / When you can’t really function you’re so full of fear

The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan - WAV CD rip
His Bobness in his early folkie pomp, driving guitar and harmonica underpins his distinctive voice. Some of the finest lyrics even Dylan ever wrote, he is a genuine poet, this is an album of wonderful songs. Hard Rain is usually in my desert island list.

Angela Hewitt - Bach Goldberg Variations - WAV CD rip
Great performance of this highlight of the piano repertoire, I love Hewitt’s Bach interpretations, and this is another Desert Island disc for me.

Laura Marling - Once I Was An Eagle

Streaming on TIDAL… kicking off this Saturday morning with Laura’s ‘Once I Was An Eagle’ album. I listened to "Semper Femina’ album the other day and enjoyed it quite a bit, so thought I would queue up another of her albums. First track from the 2013 release is outstanding and I am looking forward to the rest of the album. Sounding mighty sweet!

Stephan Micus - Nomad Songs

Stephan MIcus (Ndingo, Genbri, Steel-String Guitar, Suling, Voice, Nay, Rewab, Rabab, Twelve-String Guitar, Fourteen-String Guitar, Tin Whistle, Shakuhachi).

Streaming on NAS… taking this album from 2015 out for a spin. I enjoy the patience and artistry of Stephan who travels the world, studying different cultures and learning how to play so many instruments. Then composes the music, playing multiple instruments and recording each and then mixing them all to create each individual tracks to produce the album. A very relaxing album and fits into this lazy Saturday morning perfectly…
