2015 - Cass County

I was a late comer to this Don Henley album, not being a particular fan of country music I feared the worst and didn’t want to spoil my memories of his great earlier albums. I shouldn’t have worried, it’s a fine album with his voice sounding as good as ever.

2016 - Eagles Unplugged 1994 (The Second Night, Disc 2)

Fine sounding live Eagles to rival Hell Freezes over for sound quality, this double live album captures them late on after reforming in 1994 and is a real treat.

Chet Baker - Someday my prince will come

Very nice live recording from Chet Baker in a trio setting. Great playing by all three members of the trio. Recorded in 1979.

On original double vinyl

Why? As reminder of all those fantastic gigs at Hammy Odeon and elsewhere.

In the days when i lived with the parents, me big bruv’ brought this album on release.
We played it on the stereo with said parents in attendance, and after listening for a few minutes father declared it was “dentist drill music!” much to the boring old codgers disapproval it was : (

It’s funny how in those days if the parents didn’t like something it only helped to make it sound even more fabulous :+1:
