John Martyn - Piece By Piece
Vinyl. Sounding great on a warm evening, cantilever compliance and all that, he’d added without really knowing what he was talking about!
Father John Misty - God’s Favourite Customer
Unless I’ve missed something I never see any posts about this guy - maybe just no-one else likes him. For sure the most played artist in our house for the last couple of years. We discovered him just before seeing him at Coachella in 2017 and have been to loads of his shows since. He used to play drums with Fleet Foxes before going solo as Josh Tillman and latterly for his last four albums as Father John Misty. Can’t recommend him enough. “I Love You, Honeybear” is his best album in my opinion.
I’ve posted and listened to this guy for the last year or so, you are right most people seemed to have missed him. Great talent, the album before this was also worth listening too. ![]()
And great way to kick off any day. ![]()
