Frampton Comes Alive!
I picked this up from the thread on DSD. It’s like I have never heard before. Plenty of woodwind and brass as well as the usual strings.
Remarkably good.

Sonny Rollins, Saxophone Colossus. LP, 1987 remaster by Fantasy Studios Berkeley, Phil De Lance.
Late night listening yesterday. A true jazz classic. I tend to avoid remasters (especially from the 80’s) but this one sounds amazing. The band was in my listening room, to the point where Ms. ClaudeP who was passing by stepped in to take a closer look at the sleeve.

Busy day so need to chill and this hits the spot. CD ripped to Core.
Frank Zappa - Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar
Someone up there^ was listening to Peter Frampton and mentioned ‘air guitar’. Well, this doesn’t inspire me to do that but it certainly shows the late Mr Zappa’s mastery of the instrument. Sadly missed and so long ago!
Free - Fire and Water.
Classic Krautrock from 1975, featuring Michael Rother of Neu! plus Moebius and Roedelius of Cluster. Conny Plank’s handling the production duties. It’s a stunning album.
This lucky bunny lives in a house with walls 3ft thick and no neighbours. Does sound good with a bit of welly.
