The Clash - The Clash.
I’ve been listening to this on and off for (a little) over 43 years… it still sounds fresh to me.
Although I was a huge fan of Them this was strangely my first Van Morrison album and still my favourite
That looks enticing enough to line up. Will let you know how I get on. Unless I don’t like it and I will enter silent mode.
Stephen music that good will never age
Not cornflakes music!
Now playing…
Madeleine Peyroux - Careless Love
Madeleine Peyroux (vocals, guitar), Scott Amendola (percussion), Jay Bellerose (percussion), Larry Goldings (piano, organ), Dean Parks (guitar) and David Piltch (bass).
Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/16)… continuing on this afternoon with Madeleine and she and the band are sounding mighty fine…
Martin Taylor - Nitelife.
Maybe mid day music which unfortunately lately amounts to the same thing Slightly concerned that the way things are going the cornflakes might be laced with finest malt
Hey, Watssamarra witchu? Chill out, Graham boy!
See edit. Goodnight Tony.
Cool, Take it real easy and see you tomorrow!
Just checking if you’re ok, Graham @igahman ? Slightly concerned with you last post. Hope you’re good.
My best recollection would be that I heard this in '65 probably played by my college roommate in our freshman year. He introduced me to jazz for which I am eternally grateful. I still have the album but I no longer own a good turntable to play it on. This DSD recording is wonderful.
This is a very nice way to start a Sunday morning. I had not heard of them u til yesterday and they have many albums. Not sure where to start but I can feel some money will be spent!!!
