Andy Sheppard (Soprano Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone), John Parricelli (Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar), Eivind Aarset (Guitar, Electronics), Arild Andersen (Double-Bass, Electronics) and Kuljit Bhamra (Tabla, Percussion).
Streamed on NAS… A fantastic quintet creating some beautiful and joyful music. Quickly becoming a favorite of mine, one sweet album!

On a different tack I may be alone, but I actually enjoy ‘The Voice’, at least we as a family do (Nintendo mad son aside).
I’m always struck with ‘The Voice’ how completely natural and at ease the panel are with each other - being Welsh we love Tom Jones for novelty value alone, but the whole panel just seem to be genuinely quite nice people - there are some truly fantastic vocalists on that show, and I’m often baffled when the panelists don’t ‘turn’ for some.

Elles Springs - Reveal - WAV CD rip
Stunning album, Elles writes deeply moving songs, she has a fantastic voice, she and Mark play them beautifully. Brilliantly recorded and produced as well. My favourite album of 2018. She’s working on writing more songs I hear.
